As with our De-ville and Bel-Air ranges, the Sunseeker
off road pop tops and caravans are designed from the ground up. Starting
with your choice of suspension to suit your particular needs you may
choose either beam axle-leaf spring, Simplicity independent or air
bag suspension with wheel type to suit your tow vehicle. Traveller caravans
have the expertise to build a superior off road product.
The Sunseekers
solar, battery and smart charger system can easily be backed up by
generator. The gas system even includes an outside gas point by the
picnic table, to enhance your outside living. With gas oven, 240v/gas
hot water service, 3 way fridges (or 12v compressor) these units can
bush camp for as long as you wish.
The smaller vans can facilitate
outside showers, while most of the larger vans have inside shower/toilet

Chassis
Like a master built home the Sunseeker
starts with strong foundations. The 150 x 50 chassis is constructed
using heavy duty 450 grade steel. The heavy duty A Frame is constructed
from 450 grade 150mm x 50mm RHS and extends to the Simplicity independent
suspension. There are jacking points on both sides of the caravan to
suit trailer mate jacking system. The whole chassis is duragal treated.
Easy drop down stabiliser legs are also a standard feature.

Suspension
We only use the best – Simplicity independent, load sharing suspension
(the same suspension which has been used by the Australian Army). There
are many reasons why Simplicity Suspension is regarded as the best suspension
on the market:
- Independent means exactly that, each wheel can move freely without
transferring shock or load from one side to the other. Not being connected
by a beam axle – means more ground clearance, less tyre wear,
no axle steer, less body roll, softer ride and less shock being transferred
into the caravan body.
- A true load sharing suspension allows all wheels to equally share
the load giving much better braking, less wear and stress when crossing
undulating ground like speed bumps etc.
- Each suspension arm has individual adjusters to facilitate exact
wheel alignment.
Simplicity Suspensions are not built to a price, they are built to
do the ultimate job and that is to handle all Australian roads with ease.
All Simplicity Suspension packages fitted come with 12” brakes.
Single wheel van 2000kg load capacity, tandem wheel van 3000kg load capacity.
Being custom built you can have your choice of either 15” or
16” wheels to suit your tow vehicle and the wheel arches are double
sealed galvanised.
Construction
- The Floor is made from 12mm highly water resistant ply, glued and
screwed to chassis, coated with a water proof membrane.
- Interior walls we use a “polyester” finish for extra
durability.
- One – Four Seasons hatch up to 17’.
- Two – Four Seasons hatch 17’ 6” and over.
- Galaxy wind out windows with flyscreens and two radius corners.
- Camec triple lock door.
- Overhead cupboards are a new style lift-up type with spring struts.
- Positive locking cabinet catches with matching hinges and knobs.

Plumbing
- Two 18 gallon water tanks, with full galvanised protector covers.
- Extra tanks available.
- Lockable water filler and water level indicator.
- Mains pressure inlet with pressure and flow limiter.
- Tap on A Frame.
- Deep sink and flick mixer taps are standard.
Electrics
- Heavy duty type battery with 240 volt built-in Smart charger, wired
to facilitate 12 volt charging from either the vehicle, solar system
or generator. 2 x deep cycle batteries and 120w solar panel and regulator.
- Both 12 volt fluoro and reading lights plus sink and annexe lights.
- 240v earth leakage safety switch.
Spare Wheel
Mounted on the rear looped bumper bar and fitted with wheel cover along
with 2 jerry can holders.
Upholstery
Deluxe pillow upholstery to both the dinette and lounge with 5” high
density foam and lift up tops for storage.
Beds
- Backsaver quality innerspring mattress in both single and double
bed layouts.
- Double beds have a lift up base with gas struts.
Roll Out Awning
Relax under the deluxe Dometic A & E awning with it’s centre
support for travelling. Colour co-ordinated to suit your exterior colour
choice.
Ensuite Models
Pull up on the side of the road and have a refreshing shower. It’s
that easy. Thetford Cassette toilet with the locking outside service
door, making it easy to access the removable cassette. All waste water
is plumbed to one easily accessible outlet to connect your sullage hose.
Suburban hot water service gives you the convenience of hot water in
the shower and hand basin as well as in the kitchen. This water heater
has a stainless steel water tank, short heating up period as well as
maximum safety and reliability through monitoring elements and overpressure
valve. Most importantly you have the convenience of running this service
from either gas or 240 volt power when available.
Gourmet Kitchen
Dometic Caprice 4 burner, grill and oven features the very latest space
saving design with innovative aesthetics and practical glass lid. There
is also a microwave fitted for your convenience.
Dometic RM2553 12v240v
LPG refrigerator/freezer, where applicable, has a gross capacity of
150 litres. With the advanced ventilation system which was especially
designed to provide optimum ventilation and therefore significantly better
cooling performance of this absorption refrigerator. 12v compressor fridges
are available as an option.
Television System
17” flat screen television mounted on swivel arm (optional).
Amplified Wingard wind-up TV antenna with reception controlled from
inside the caravan.
Air Conditioning
Aircommand Wren roof mounted for full caravans and the Air Command
Heron split system for pop tops, giving you both cooling and heating.
CD/Radio/DVD
A fully built-in CD radio unit with internal and external speakers
which also plays DVD’s pre-wired through to your TV position.
